to Address COVID-19

As of July 1, 2020

As a measure against the current COVID-19 outbreak, Koukandekirukun is prioritizing the health and safety of our customers and employees and is taking the following measures.

    [Efforts during construction visits]

  • ・Construction staff must wear masks.
    In consideration of our customers' health and safety as well as public health, all construction staff wear masks.
    In addition, we will visit with the minimum number of people necessary to carry out the work.
  • ・We disinfect our hands using alcohol-based disinfectant.

    [Showroom Initiatives]

  • ・We will thoroughly ventilate the room.
  • ・We will thoroughly disinfect all customer service tables, chairs, exhibits, etc. used by customers.
  • ・Acrylic partitions have been installed at the customer service tables.
  • ・Alcohol disinfectant available at all showrooms
    We have alcohol-based disinfectant available at all times so that you can disinfect your hands when entering the building or after using the restroom.

    [Initiatives for all employees]

  • ・Increased provision of alcohol-based disinfectant within the company
    We have installed additional alcohol-based disinfectant to ensure that you disinfect your hands after entering the office or using the restroom.
  • ・Wash your hands and gargle as needed during work (as well as when you return home)
  • ・We take thorough measures to manage the health of our employees (checking their health every morning, etc.).
  • ・Implementation of staggered work hours
    We are promoting staggered and reduced working hours for some employees.
  • ・In addition to the above, if an employee or their family member is suspected of being infected or in close contact with an infected person, they are required to consult with and follow the instructions of the returnees/contact points consultation center in their prefecture, and also to report the situation to the company, so that we can keep track of the situation within the company.

    (Construction visits)

  • ・If you are experiencing early symptoms of COVID-19, such as coughing, fever, loss of taste or smell, or fatigue, or if you have traveled abroad within the past two weeks, we will reschedule the work.
    We would like to encourage you to contact us freely, even on the same day.

    • (About visiting our showroom)

  • ・We are limiting the number of visitors to prevent close contact.
    We kindly request that you make an advance reservation before your visit.
  • ・If you are experiencing initial symptoms of COVID-19, such as coughing, fever, abnormal taste or smell, or fatigue, or if you have a history of overseas travel within the past two weeks, we kindly request that you refrain from visiting.
  • ・Upon visiting, we kindly request your cooperation in wearing a mask, using alcohol-based sanitizer, and maintaining a social distance of at least 1 meter.
    We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers, and we appreciate your understanding.

Koukandekirukun provides a system that allows you to order residential equipment you need for daily life online.
We usually only need to contact the customer once, when we meet them on the day of construction.
For the sake of our customers who are experiencing sudden breakdowns, we would like to continue operating our business while paying close attention to infection prevention measures and hygiene management.

In addition, we will continue to make policy decisions in accordance with the situation and the policies of the Japanese government and related organizations, giving the utmost consideration to ensuring the safety of our customers, staff, and related parties.
