Koukandekirukun, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masaru Kurihara) announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, KD Service Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masahiro Yoshida), has entered into a business allaiance with Nomura Real Estate Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Daisaku Matsuo) in September 2024. Starting from November 2024, KD Service has been handling certain housing equipment replacement services for residents of condominiums and detached houses developed by Nomura Real Estate.
Nomura Real Estate Development offers "NEXT PASS 10," a service that includes extended warranties for residential equipment to residents of Proud and other detached housing properties. As the number of residents increases, it is expected that there will be more opportunities than ever before to replace residential equipment.
Therefore, we have decided to form a business partnership with KD Service, a member of the Kokan Dekiru Koukandekirukun Group, which has more than 200 "KOUKANSHI"*1 across the country and is promoting digital transformation in the industry by utilizing its in-house developed systems, to create a new business scheme for the exchange of residential equipment.
Under this scheme, when customers who use the warranty service need to replace residential equipment, a system will be established to ensure a smooth, integrated process from online quotes to installation.
This will enable equipment replacement to be carried out more quickly and efficiently than before, contributing to improved convenience for customers and optimizing the entire replacement process.
Through this business alliance, customers who use the warranty service offered by Nomura Real Estate will be able to maintain the comfort and functionality of their homes by receiving prompt, high-quality service when replacement of residential equipment becomes necessary.
We are also considering applying this initiative to address needs for replacing residential equipment that arise within the Nomura Real Estate Group outside of warranty services.
