Koukandekirukun, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masaru Kurihara) will begin accepting orders from April 2025 in its new construction area, Karuizawa Town, Kitasaku District, Nagano Prefecture.
Karuizawa Town has seen a steady increase in population due to its easy access from Tokyo and the spread of remote work, and has seen a particularly large increase since the COVID-19 pandemic, ranking among the top towns and villages in Japan in terms of the number of in-migrations. The area is also known as one of the highest-income areas in the country, ranking fifth out of 1,770 municipalities in 2019. In recent years, the influx of wealthy people from urban areas has led to an increase in not only the circulation of second-hand properties, but also the construction of extensions, renovations, and new buildings. As a result, the need for replacement and remodeling of residential equipment has also increased significantly.
On the other hand, there are few construction companies and equipment companies that can respond quickly and flexibly to this demand, and we have received feedback from customers who are experiencing inconveniences such as "I can't find someone to ask" or "I can't get an immediate response."
