KD Service Koukandekirukun, Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masaru Kurihara; hereinafter Koukandekirukun to as "KD Service"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Kokan Dekiru Kun Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masaru Kurihara; hereinafter referred to as "Kokokan Dekiru Kun"), has entered into a business partnership agreement with Panasonic Homes Co., Ltd. (Head office: Toyonaka City, Osaka; hereinafter referred to as "Panasonic Homes") regarding the exchange of residential equipment.
As homes continue to last longer, there is an increasing need to replace residential equipment due to aging and technological advances. In particular, in the area of after-sales support, it has been a challenge to balance rapid, high-quality response with operational efficiency.
In this context, KD Service has decided to provide Panasonic Homes with residential equipment replacement service it currently offers to B2B industries such as the real estate industry.
This service will be initially introduced in the Kanto region (Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Saitama) from April 2025, and is scheduled to be gradually expanded nationwide from July onwards.
KD Service offers the DX process for B2B for residential equipment exchanges, utilizing the "Internet-based quoting and ordering system" developed for Koukandekirukun and the construction network of over 250 "KOUKANSHI (housing equipment engineers)*1 " nationwide.
Using an online system that greatly reduces the need for conventional on-site inspections, the entire process from obtaining quotes to ordering and scheduling can be completed, enabling high-quality replacements by professional engineers in major cities throughout Japan.
The result is a streamlined, time-consuming residential equipment individual unit replacement process for the client company and a more trusting relationship between the client company and its customers.
The Koukandekirukun Group will continue to promote digital transformation in residential equipment sector from both IT and construction perspectives, and aim to build a sustainable service system through collaboration with partner companies.
