Koukandekirukun, Inc. shares in Kitchen Works Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shiroishi-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido; President and CEO: Shinya Yukawa; hereinafter referred to as "KW"), a company specializing in renovations that sells and installs approximately 100 system kitchens and 150 unit baths per year, mainly in Sapporo.

■ To build a synergy model between the change and renovation fields
Our company specializes in replacing residential equipment and has expanded its EC with installation, and has grown to a scale where it handles more than 60,000 installations per year, but many customers who have used our services for toilet and sink installation have expressed a desire to next request system kitchen and unit bath renovations, which we do not currently handle. This initiative is intended to meet the needs of such customers and broaden the scope of our services.

As rising costs of acquiring new customers have a significant impact on the management of renovation companies, we expect that sending quality customers from our company will make a significant contribution to their performance.
Furthermore, our company's vision is to apply the customer attraction and systemization that we have cultivated through DX, the recruitment and training of KOUKANSHI (residential equipment installer), and the purchasing power that comes from our overwhelming sales volume to renovation companies, with the aim of leading innovation in the industry.

■Our vision
Going forward, rather than focusing on forming a group company through M&A, we are considering a voluntary chain model in which Kanko Dekiru Koukandekirukun customers and provide consulting services to reputable renovation businesses in each region, with the aim of expanding revenue through royalty income.

■ Acquired Kitchen Works Co., Ltd. and is working to build a model case
As a precursor to this initiative, we will acquire 100% of the shares of KW, a 22-year-old company based in Sapporo that specializes in system kitchen renovations. In Hokkaido, where demand fluctuates dramatically due to seasonality, KW has stabilized its performance through thorough project and operation management. KW boasts strengths as a company specializing in plumbing, including a system that allows the company to complete all work with its own in-house residential equipment installer and a wood processing factory that creates high competitiveness at renovation sites. KW primarily attracts customers online, making it an ideal company for building the voluntary chain model of a top-quality renovation company that we aim to become. Going forward, we will maximize synergies while leveraging the know-how and human resources that KW has cultivated to realize our vision.
